How much you having on Omar if he gets a game mark ;) and agree with doc for a change! If they both cat 4 players then Lakin and Omar will be a fair match up. No one can complain they are being robbed as both are from a snooker/English pool background.

Neither of them has seen the other play and everyones complaining about both their cats saying that they're both robbing? So play each other, no because I KNOW for a FACT and so do you bean that omars not robbing. Lakin is a money game guru at 8 ball!!! Omars never had a money game?

The only reason i offered Mr French to come and play me at Vages bar so he could see play and then decide if i`ve been given fair rating or not for his own peace of mind, not that i wanted to rob him. Dont see why he wouldn`t hes offered Mr Lakin to ply for small amount of money but when i said it hes haviing b*tch fit . that shows he cant stand his ground all hes good at is whingeing 24/7 . I dont have time for losers like you do 1!!

People are bound to be cagey when you're talking about £500 or more. Can't blame anyone trying to play it as safe as possible. The best way IMO is to pick a few players and play cheaper sets for £50 or £100 to see where you stand. If you want to play MMTV but no one can agree what your level is just come and play action night a few times or if you are not local arrange some cheaper sets nearer to you against some established players.

Yeah, I was just winding ya up mark... I know Omar is definitely a cat 4 player he beat me 21.16 the other week. I think he has a lot of potential to move up to a 3 or a 2 pretty quickly though but as for now 4 is definitely right. Omar and McElhatton would be a fair game, Alex probs slight favourite as he has more knowledge and experience in 9ball scene.

Omar I'm talking about £10 sets with someone who is in Derby. Not paying £30 fuel plus to Wakefield, plus table, drinks and food and having to beat you 5-0 in sets just to not lose any money.

Not having a b*tch fit at all, if I was up that way for something else I'd happily play and no doubt you'd be the same if the other way round.

However I'm not gonna pay out £40-£50 before I even begin playing to then play £10 sets. I want to play pool, I enjoy playing pool but there are far too many class 8-ballers/snooker players trying to pull a fast one. So everyone says you a cat 4 (for now) then that's fine, if I were closer to you I'd pay just for the experience but surely you can see why spending £50 to play £10 sets is not wise?? Especially when I'm the underdog...

The last thing I am is a loser, I work so hard on my game to improve it and I am slowly getting there. Call me a loser if I didnt practise and then was saying stuff but I play A LOT and I work on the right things to improve my game...

Not harsh at all....if people want to make comments based purely on hearsay then they deserve any response that comes their way. Just to point out to Mr French regarding his comment that cat4 players dont always clear up from open play.....news flash neither do cat1 or players higher up the food chain. Snooker and 9ball to totally different games so please start playing a different tune

It has been said on here he has hit a 147. That is not hearsay as far as I see it, that is a fact.

I do realise snooker, marbles and 9ball are different games but you cannot discount achievements because of that fact.

At the end of the day I just want to play fair games and when people come along who are great cueists elsewhere can't you understand why it would seem like they are trying to pull a fast one, when yours truly can't even break over 35 in snooker??

I understand Omar ISN'T robbing now...but when my highest break is 114 points lower than his I'm going to be weary. If you cannot understand that then there is no hope...

lol so what your saying is that you regard everything said on here as FACT????????? I understand everyone just wants to play fair games but please reserve your judgements until you do know the facts.....and not just what you read on here, at least wait till you have seen the player play then your well within your rights to make a judgement and comment on his ability. One more thing Happy New Year :-)
