I totally agree and im sure every other player on the tour does, I run and organise comps at a small level and I know how hard a job it is, The GB9 team make it look easy and the tour is always run ultra professionally, thats why its so popular and can continue to hold events with the amount of entries they do, Great job guys and girls [ This message was edited by: wildman147 on 2012-04-30 14:02 ]

On 2012-04-27 20:29 , bulldog Wrote:!!! QUOTE !!! On 2012-04-27 10:46 , Doug Wrote:!!! QUOTE !!! I am not sayng that this new organisation is bad thing as Richard and Daryl are both sound guys. But I am intrigued why it is a necessity. Why is the GB9 Tour still not fulfilling this important role. Surely, as the primary promoter of events in the UK this should be sufficient for them to hold the reins and control what happens. They publish a Ranking List which simply has no meaning unless it is used by a third party. No doubt (as Mark points out) they will be giving 'the working together' scenario but all that seems to be created is another level of politics, which like the previous David Morris' sham organisation does not promote the events. Could the new 'federation' not have come from within the inside of GB9?
Doug some very valid points, but having an independent organisation run by the players is surely better for the game. It stops a bias that we know in the past the GB committee has had over certain individuals.
The tour is great for UK 9 ball, but at times is run like it's Lee Rigby's baby and this is not very professional at times, if Mr Rigby doesn't like certain players, my good friend god rest his soul Mark lovell raised these issues on more than 1 occasion and i have read of other players on here having the same issues with Lee Rigby, not saying he doesn't do a good job, just think it's biased at times and a new organisation can prevent this and get the best for the players.
Mark young man instead of coming on a public forum slating lee rigby at least show some front and reveal who you are,not being funny with but at least be a man and say who you are,not sure if youve played on gb9 or atteneded any events,as mark lunn put run professional is an exact way it is,plus coming on here saying lee is biased towards certain people is far from the truth,i know lee pretty well now and weve had our ups and downs with lee speaking what he thinks n same with me,your way off the mark with him being biased towards anyone, back your mouth up with facts or stop trying to tarnish gb9 tour with lies, everyone on the tour can vouch for lee not bein biased or bending any rules or regs for anyone,if you care to play on the tour or go to an event then you would no this but a suppsoe its second hand made up information,gb9 has been goin now for quite a number of years and as gone from strength to strength and with a lot of hard work from lee and all the committee and volunteers, event through bad times with the country it still there just grow a pair and reveal yourself, not asking for much,at least then your points can be addressed, its obviously a way to try and pull gb9 down because if it wasnt you would have spoke in private to a comittee member or lee, pathetic if you ask me ----------------- Mr Dockerty to you boys
