I actually think Ossie would be slightly worried playing Chris on current form (not that he would ever say that). As strong as he is Ossie is probably the worst of the Cat 1 players (excluding Butch as he is not playing any more) and Chris is at the top of Cat 2 right now. It's defo a fair match up if you ask me. If Chris doesn't play Ossie its a struggle to think who he can play right now. He's already demolished Arfan and ABS in recent games. Kev Uzzell is possibly the only other realistic contender. James Kay might have a crack but I think it would be a very difficult MMTV debut for him. Mark Gray v Chris would be another good game if Mark gives 2 or 3 start. With Chris playing so well and so close to Cat 1 right now this is a great opportunity to get some Cat 1 palyers involved with maybe small starts offered where applicable. LOl Oz beat matt then offered mat 3 start for a rematch, Difference is playing someone of oz ability you dont get same chances as you do against most opponents, Last week against melling was for nothing, we all know how mellin plays in practice he takes on silly shots in matches he plays the correct shot, If you think oz and hall are both level great compliment to chris, chris as only played against top players on MMTV but my oppinion oz is better than chris past records in major events prove it.

i think like eric says wadd v Hall would be a monster game.. I understand they have same backer but i know wadd would like too get a winners spot.. The game could happen as Wadd can raise cash this end.. At the end of the day its up to the backer who backs them both.. Just an idea..
would be an awesome match!!
With the winner having to play a cat 1 player next??

Andy I think a rule should be brought in as regards to the min bet situation, weather or not a fee has been agreed if a player turns up with the min buy in the match has to go ahead in my eyes

I think you need the rule to be the other way around dont you? Someone could offer a game for 2k but only ever plan to bring 500 and the game is still on? The agreed amount should be the condition of the game IMO.

Min bet on MMTV is £500 no rule need to be changed for that, If a player decides to play for more then prob it should be classed as side action and sorted between the 2 players involved.

Jealousy big part of the pool world how can anybody say that Chris vs ossie/Gray would be a fair game when Chris as only been playing the game 2 mins compared to these boys?? Damien Massey,Shaun storry maybe Kay imo?? I certainly don't think Chris v Mark Gray is a level game. I think Chris would need a start, which is what i said. Mark plays pool for a living wheras not only does Craig not have mark's pedigree in terms of major event performances etc. but Craig also works full time long hours, doesn't even play Euro Tour anymore and hasn't got time to practice. Add that to the fact Chris lives on table 3 every day of the week and it levels it up in my opinion. I think most people who know the game and know both players very well would find it difficult to pick a winner. That's my honest opinion and I'm free to give it, as I always do. it's not about jealousy (if power's comment was directed at me) or any other underhand reason. I for one am chuffed to bits to see Chris playing so well and now showing his full potential and I really hope he does well at GB9 this season. I might be right and I might be wrong but I just give an opinion as I see it. [ This message was edited by: Riggers on 2012-01-30 15:08 ]
