Riggers odds might av to be slashed a bit like as he just had a nice little confidence boosting win over the marksman :-)

And theres me thinking he'd keep that to himself ;)

Yes he played good, he was 9-0 up and id had i think one chance. I brought it back and leveled at 15-15, took an 18-16 lead then he came back at me again to win 21-18. Couple of rolls and steady play from Rigby!

Well I certainly intended keeping that to myself except for sharing it with one close friend. Thats because before I played last night he had asked me to let him know how I got on. I didn't know Ben was going to post here. I know its all in jest but maybe that's just in response to some of the posts above making out that Vegas bar are going to walk all over us.

Anyway it was a good game to be involved in last night and Mark played some stunning and fluent stuff to come back.

Dont think any one thinks vegas bar will walk all over your players lee, Personally i think alex, gaz are good bets, but yourself and phil is always a close affair hard to call.

I think Alex, Gaz and Lee to win. Alex never gives in even when playing off his best, and he won't be bullied into submission.

Never seen Gaz or George play so I'm guessing really.

Lee has a lot of knowledge and is very solid. Phil has on his side knowledge he's beaten Lee a few times before and can do it again, but I think Lee wins here and deserves to be favourite.

Shame there's no stream would've loved to watch, Good luck to all :)

Riggers and Baz agree. There's a first lol.

Seriously, am looking forward to this as Phil is a great guy and we have a bit of friendly rivalry going on there. I respect his game a lot and think he's a much better player than a lot of people give him credit for.

There's not much between us for sure. He's a better cueist than me (most can say that lol) which is not a surprise when I had half the nerves in my arm taken away but I compensate with a bit of knowledge. 50/50 game and should be good viewing.

I quite like the 'Chicken Wing' nickname Dixon gave me lol but I think tomorrow it will be more Bandit than Chicken Wing :)

It's nice for me to be playing my first money match (for more than £100) at my home venue since the club opened 6 years ago. Unbelievable but true!

I didn't see Elliott's game but from what I've heard he played great so well done to him. I'm not going to comment on my game as I only just got home and need to reflect.

I just want to congratulate George and Gaz for a brilliant match and giving us what was undoubtedly the best entertainment of the day in a hill hill thriller. Lets face it everyone expected a bit of a chop fest here and of course there were plenty of balls missed but both players took the audience by surprise with some monster shot making towards the end of the match. George had been playing awful in practice and was supposed to get battered today but he played his heart out and I'm proud of him. He did all the right things, never lost his head and spent almost all of the match in the lead. Then Gaz dug deep and took out some finishes the top boys would have been proud of. Very well done to both players.

It was a great day all round and it's nice to see a good bit of friendly rivalry from these 2 local clubs. Thanks to the Vegas Bar guys for coming down and bring such good support.

I'm currently converting the videos to .WMV format so they can be played back over Ustream. You'll be able to watch them as the first playback is broadcast and after that they will be available for viewing on demand. Hopefully the first broadcast will be tonight around 7pm.

http://www.ustream.tv/channel/vegasbar

(correction - might be a lot later as the conversion alone is estimated to take 14 hours!)

Yep was a great night well done to elliot, Lee and Gaz some great pool and a superb atmosphere, we will do this again, i let Gaz off the hook when i had a good lead but he potted some great balls so all credit to Gaz i enjoyed the game but not the result but we both said we will play again and thanks to everyone for supporting the players, but it does show you don't have to be one of the top players to to generate the atmosphere as me and Gaz put on a great main event

I'm going to broadcast the match between Me & Phil now on the VegasBar channel. The video conversion from full HD down to a much smaller WMV has resulted in some annoying pixelation but the quality is very watchable.
