Players let it down once again not brining support a new format will be put in place shortly eric, Players will have to name there support simply no point doing all the planning for players not to honour this, I have spoken to lee and shoka and we feel a change is needed this is what we will do in future events, more details will follow shortly.

Yes the attendance in Vegas Bar was a little disappointing but despite that the unique buzz of MMTV along with the excellent Vegas Bar location helped create a good atmosphere during the matches. If you watch the videos back e.g. towards the end of Finlay's and Tom's wins you'll be able to hear it for yourselves.

It seems to be the same all over the pool world at the moment. The organisers are still putting on great events but the support is not always there from the players.

GB9 is another example where numbers have dropped off a little (there are other understandable reasons for that this season). Now with the new format and potential increased prize fund announced we have an amazing opportunity to take GB9 to incredible new heights but that's ONLY possible if the players get behind us. Fingers crossed we won't miss this great opportunity and the game will start to grow again like it has between 2005 to 2011.

I know it can be difficult to get lots of support to come with you but not only does it help the event it's obviously a big advantage for you in your match to have that added encouragement.

I keep myself to myself and don't socialise much anymore or play golf like I used to, prefering to spend time with family when I get the chance so this means my social circle outside family is very limited and I'd find it hard to find 5 lads to come and watch my match. But when I've played on MMTV (a long time ago) and when I played Dixon I made it a special day with family and family friends all turning up to enjoy the buzz. And I can tell you this lot shouted the house down for me when Dixon had all his mates yelling and it made a big difference to me and ultimately helped me get over the line.

MMTV will continue to play a big part in UK pool along with GB9 and T9B. I know next month we have potential for some mouthwatering matches if the rumoured challenges turn into reality. We are talking about new faces and big names :) So come on guys, get behind it and get the challenges flying around.

Big names are needed for it to survive but the likes of melling and boyes etc are not willing to play in fear of getting embarrassed by lesser players. Would be nice to be proved wrong but just can't see any of these so called big names ever stepping up to the mark. if things do not improve and fast 9 ball will just be a thing of the past. So come on lets see some big names down on the next card if you dare.

good shout andy

if players/supporters havnt been to any of these events then there missing out,in the past when supporters supported players its awesome atmosphere n adds to the pressure, take me hat off to the lads that play,i know things die off but be nice to get it back to the days off full club n supporters chanting, obviously the lads travelling from afar needs adressing as its a massive task alone travelling maybe 200-300 mile to play, like i said i didnt attend this one but was glued to the stream, look forward to goin or watching the stream every month, mainly goin especially get to have a booze with the lads n lads from over that way, hope it gets back to sumat like it use to be

I spent most of the day watching yday and i think it was a great event, really enjoyed Tom vs Sam think the game had everything and was so evenly matched. The stream quality was again really good. I dont think it needs the top players to survive, I think they would be an added bonus to what already is a quality monthly event. The supporters rules sounds like it needs to be sorted tho and be fair for players in the south as there is a lot more cost for the south players to make the journey. Top event this weekend tho and 6 great matches, looking forward to next months event.

I personally apologise for not having many fans there, however as i mentioned yesterday to andy id just come back off holiday with my mates, the game was confirmed at about 5pm friday and the lads had other plans. I got a few there in the end though. I was disappointed more didt turn up to watch me, but if people dont want to come there isnt anything i can do to be fair and i cant make them change their plans....

I did however make up for it by spending as much as a few of my mates would have done behind the bar later on :)

Another great day, well done again to Andy and Riggers for putting on another great card. Thanks to Minty for giving me the opportunity to play and Del and Banham for providing me someone to booze all day with!

Well tuned sounds like another one of those that likes to hide behind a user name and talk rubbish.
Sounds like there was some good match ups this time creating some great finishes. Well done to all involved

When was the last time you attended one of these events seal pup ? Not enough good players taking part more top players are required. the standard is pub and club standard at the best. i reckon a good karoke would be more entertaining.

6 good matches, and everyone knows that you don't need the top players like daz and melling to make pool exciting, what you need are good close games which with the exception of jammy n Danny pamments games, they all were.

If its so trash why not play on it urself, maybe ur skills can make it more exciting?
