i challenged you arfan!!!! im not on your list and i will most certainly be bringing 5ish supporters!!! ;-)

having said that im very happy to be involved in the game with adam, he's a class player and it will be a real test of how well i can play under the mmtv pressure!

Any pool player should be wanting to get themselves involved in mmtv, its a great event and will only get bigger and better, fair play to all at vegas bar and cuesport tv!!!

Barneyboi.......2wks of hard graft ahead ;-)

Yes you did pal and I know you're not on my list but you're on a couple of my backer's list which is why this game didn't happen. You said so yourself that you didn't think this game would happen when you found out they were backing me, lol!!

Maybe somewhere down the line it will happen but we'll have to wait and see I suppose. Good luck against ABS, should be a cracker!!

Arfan could easily get a game, but a lot people wont play because there mates, but look at it like this, are new website is now online the player profiles the hype all matches will be available to view shortly, the players names will get known world wide, so if your mates keep winning are you just going to sit back till they get beat before you try and further your career, i think not win or loose your still mates lol.

I know what you're saying Andy but I wouldn't feel comfortable playing the following 2 rated players as they're good mates of mine.

Shane Appleton
Ben Finch
Dave Nelson

Having said that, there's still plenty of 2's on the player list that can challenge me. Obviously buckmaster has challenged me but unfortunately he couldn't meet the criteria Andy has set but sometimes it's not a bad thing giving the public a game they'd love to see even if it means breaking some of the rules youve outlined. In my opinion, the bigger the matches on paper, the more people it will attract to the club and also online via cuesport.tv.

Sooooo...

If you get to the world 9 ball final and have to play Shane
you wouldn't want to play him LOL

Theres only one valid reason for not wanting to play someone
and thats if you felt you couldnt win....

There are NO mates on the table!
To be the best you have to beat EVERYBODY!
Get up and play!

Also...
Seems like too many greedy backers with fingers in TOO MANY Pies!
Not going to bother backing against themselves are they???

PS If I upset anyone, I dont care
Its my Birthday LOL

Playing your mate for money and playing your mate in a tournament are two totally different things so I'm not sure what your point is. Besides, Shane is backed by similar people to me anyway and I like to have a bet on Shane myself.

I ain't afraid of playing or losing to anyone as it's part of the game so you're barking up the wrong tree pal, oh and happy birthday, lol!!

I know what you are saying guys..

But the point I was making is that you should have no friends on the table.
Play people you are mates with for money..
Learn to beat any emotions or regrets you have about beating them.
It will harden your mental game and make you a better player.

I guess we are all different...

Evening session again, am happy with that, atmosphere is gonna be class again, "Barney Army" still ringing in my ears from the finch match!!!!

Arfan vs chris should be a great match too, i fancy chris's all round game could be a great test for arfan and his safety maybe the deciding factor???

what time is the scotch doubles scheduled for?
