And if the match is rejected to try and get fresh faces then why is the Yates/Hirst match a wildcard and also now a champion match?!? Bizarre! [ This message was edited by: cusack_147 on 2011-08-03 07:23 ]

ive had 6 challenges minus gibbos and 5 of them have been on in the last 2 mmtvs so i cant see the stumbling block if me v gibbo was to go ahead, its not like its our 7th meeting and its never been off the box(laptop) is it i thought that was the thing u could pick who u played hence you are the champion, surely a match with a bit of previous would spice things up nicely and hes a red so let me at him dog

Exactly, that's the bit I don't understand myself as it totally contradicts andy's reasonings for not allowing gibbo and lou's match to go ahead. ----------------- Regards

LOL cant you lot read your are one tracked read the main post on page one it states it quite clearly why and about how the champions pick there games, And arfan to answer yet another of you stupid post always having a dig at something cat 4/5/6 players were asking me to put more on for them has all champions games are mainly top end, This is why jamie ans sam were invited back to play a champion game no other reason, And gibbo always looking out for your self the rules are there so stick to them or dont play, Lets see some of you try do summat for pool you will fall at the first hurdle yes your right hacked off.

In future if players have a problem with how we run things contact me personally instead of bad mouthing on MMTV thread, If a player continues to do so he will be removed from the list all rules are easy to read on page 1 [ This message was edited by: 9balldog on 2011-08-03 10:29 ]

All matches will be 9ball races to 21.
As the winners have the right to defend their titles we will try our best to match them with worthy opponents of similar ability ie same catergory, Please note fresh faces will be given priority to play winner stays on champion games over previous MMTV players if the challenge is of simlar ability.

so if the winner decides he doesnt want to take the challenge of this fresh face kid and wants to challenge a lad who hasnt been on for a ccouple of month then hes not aloud, some of these posts are valid andy as its whats happened in the past, people are having there say about mmtv because the 3 choices the winner gets isnt bein applied from now by the looks of things, not having digs just stating how things are with mmtv now,if thats the case then fine but before it wasnt like this,re matchs have happened in the past and without a problem, personally dont see why gibbo is looking out for himself when hes thrown a challenge to lou, after all lou beat him last time off the main table
if you cant see why players are having there 2 pence worth with things altering then you need to re read it all
your doing a great job with 9 ball and comps, mmtv n other stuff you promote, everythings always gunna be up for debate with things like this
what about if lou decided he didnt want to take the ben clayton game, would he be booted off mmtv

i agree eric, i don't think my post was stupid at all and andy seems to get on the defensive when players start debating something regarding the events he runs. You run great events andy but no event is going to be perfect which is why people will debate on how to make them better in future. I definitely aren't having a pop at you at all and i always try and support your events. Like eric said, i'm always going to have opinions too and i'll make sure i air them too but in the right way without directly having a dig at someone. I personally think i've been hard done by with the 4th champions spot but i've not complained at all about that. It was Matt and I that put our spots on the line to grant your wish for 3 wildcard matches and 3 champions matches but to have this reversed the very next month is a bit of a slap in the face really. I hope you can see where i'm coming from as i didn't have to play Matt and vice versa but we did for you, obviously i lost but i'm sure Matt wouldn't have been happy if he was in my position too. ----------------- Regards

And to be honest eric your saying the champion might not to take on fresh faces but if simlar ability why would he not take the game in lous case there were 5/6 challengers all were viable and reasonable games. Please read rules on page one it clearly states it all there. You promoted pool once before eric you know its hard to please everyone. [ This message was edited by: 9balldog on 2011-08-03 12:47 ]
