Yes that was superceded a few days later when I posted some details of a potential game i.e. Race to 21 for £50. I think Eric's original post was aimed at a much higher stake in a race to 50.

I agree Eric is among the best players in Yorkshire along with those I mentioned. I've also said on many occassions that I'm not going to play those players for anything but small amounts but those are definately the players I want to be playing as much as possible.

Why so interested Gaz... Are you wanting a bet or something?

am in agreement with you on playin better players after we chatted, reason am willing to play all level 2s and 3s for 50s,names i mentioned before who i said o wouldnt play i will, shane, ben, benn smith n all others, good hard practice against top players, improve my game, not bein funny or owt but cant raise me game if am thinkin am fav to win game, not a good thing but something i need to sort out, meaning takin lesser players more serious

be a good game between you n dicko, lookin forward to it,one thing that wont happen is distractin players when on your shot, have respect to you both whilst your playin, win or lose be a cracker with all the hype

good luck

Yes I agree it should be a good game. Dixon is one of the best single ball potters I ever saw. Trouble is I always thought it was handy to be able to string a few together to play 9 ball ;)

no just yoi keep goin on about getting a game at your venue, which i agree with you i think players should go to your venue more, but a game with eric is there if u want it. think the problem is the top players like eric would rather play big money if going to barnsley n would rather play the 50 pound practice games at vegas.

Riggers back Gibbo then before I play u cos I'd be happy to relieve u of more cash than I'm already going to !!

Your full of it at times !!

There's no best players in Yorkshire were all rubbish including Shane ben and chris !! Just decent club players that's it !! Not exactlys superstars are they !!

Shane doesn't work neither does chris !! Wish I didn't have to work and could play all day every day cos I'd fool the lot of them !! I don't practice and work long hours and its a level game !!

u think u know me or something?u dont know anything about me or what i do so button it.
and i certainly dont practise everyday ive have family commitments a son to look after.
am lucky if i get more than 2 days practise at mo.
as for level game when u achieve what ive achieved in short space of time playing 9 ball then u can call it level game.

Shane your on the table more than the cloth pal!!

What u have achieved ??? There's better players than u never won owt so don't try playing that card m8

Thing is with a fair few player they have a few good results and they forget who they are !!

Dixon....... Feet firmly on the ground

Lost count how many opens i won. Finished 1 number on challenge tour 12th in main rankings not a bad achievement for first year.i dont claim to be a superstar i know my level.

As for forgetting who i am load of trash. Am over moon what i achieved in my first year i never expected it. But i dont get carried away and expect to achieve what darren has hes in different league to me just like most top players. As for feet firmly on ground dont go round saying am goin to beat players easy. I have respect for other players and the game. Anything can happen in game of pool and can lose to anyone who can play the game.

dixon haha

agree with practice situ but thats life

got to hand it to shane dixon, not been playin long and has achieved alot on amateur level, take me hat of to him,put hours in n got rewards

like ben not been playin long and works long hours but still done well, again applaud it,can say if i get anywhere near a challenge win a will be over moon,so hard with so many good players

lot of good players up our way and all difficult to beat and if ye not on ye game then you lose, simple

anyway looking forward to gb9 this year, not set any targets just to enjoy it and have a laugh with lads,if a win a few games then be nice, not played on owt like this so will be nervous

got to hand it to shane though dixon wi what he achieved in short space of time

Cheers eric to be honest i didbt expect much in first year especially after first event. But i got on a roll and made most of it amazing what confidence does.
I dont claim to be a world beater just do the best if i win great if i lose then throw a few balls about and get in a strop lol.
Anyway good luck eric and sure u will do well ur a class player. Diko same with he gets his head on and stop giving gob all time. End of day if u put the work in u get the rewards. U cant expect to win comps playing once a week.

well i know Riggers quite well and he does get a load of trash thrown at him maybe because he is passionate about pool and defends himself like Eric says let the game decide and i am putting my money where my mouth is as am taking some of the bet on Riggers but it does amaze me how so many people do get involved why not do it the simple way and play him home and away to make it fair then you may have the right to mouth off but overall should be a great match and lets see who does win and let that be an end to all this sillyness and bad feeling cos all it does is give pool a bad name

lol some right comments flying around lol, lee you mentioned all the great players you have beaten but no mention for the guy that beat you long race, on my game i reckon am has good as anyone you have mentioned for money, i agree shane had an amazing start and sure is one for the future class act, but think you could throw a net over bout 6 other players in this area on there day can beat anyone.

No disrespect intended Andy but am just being honest about who I think are the best players. The fact is I'm confident I would beat you if we played again but it's not gonna happen as you ducked the rematch against me at my venue and I won't play you again at your venue on principal.
