yes!!!!!!!!!!!! i expect 90% of players want it.. the other 10% want to pattern.. not right.. can prob name them too.....! dont see the mosconi teams next month racking there own racks and picking where the balls go do we???? NO.says it all really! if the commitee want to carry on improving the tour' must be brought in to stop pattern racking..reckon 90% would want it brought in......

As Lee has said previously, the GB9 Committee do not discuss matters such as this in public forums, if you have any feedback regarding the Tour, please email yourfeedback "at" gb9balltour.com
(obviously replacing "at" with @)

Interesting that the RunOut Media DVD product advertised on the front page actively promotes the use of pattern racking, unless I'm reading it wrong???
"Content includes information on expert level breaking, offensive and defensive pattern racking, reading racks, pattern play, advanced position play, 8, 9, & 10ball strategy, kicking & banking systems, etc."

This has to happen, i'm sure there are more but i've noticed all season one person picking the Two ball up and placing it on the front row the side he breaks from!!! You know who you are and don't even think about it if you draw me.....

Exactly lunny, it's a general discussion between players, that's what open forums are for.

Hey guys, excuse my ignorance here as i'm fairly new to the game so don't understand the relevance but whats the difference? Isn't putting the 2 always at the back a version of pattern racking in its self? Surely if someone patten racks against you then you just pattern rack when its your break against them so it's even either way. Or am i missing the point. Putting the 2 at the back is more random than not having such a rule in place IMO. It tends to get kicked around and is pretty random i reckon. Most dont see pattern racking as cheating, more taking advantage of a rule not being there. 2 at the back is the way forward i reckon.

i thought putting 2 at the back is a form of pattern racking as well, if u cut the 1 into the middle the two ball is most likely going to come up table from the back and therefore you can increase your chances of being on it. Anyway i put the 2 just infront of the back ball in one of my matches this weekend and after i hit the first break was asked to but it at the back, i know understand why which is good

I agree with Richards comments too that putting the 2 at the back is pattern racking in itself. Why not go back to how the tours in Europe used to work and rack each others.

When the 2 is at the back you can't predict where it's goin as mr lunn as explained, certain players know the craic with racking, each to there own but like I said 2 at the back for me
