I'm sure you all saw our sale last week, but now it's official. Sadly, Qpod will be closing it's doors in December... http://www.qpod-billiards.com/news/detail/qpod-closing-down.htmlI was gutted, although not entirely surprised... Despite the brilliant quality of the entire range, sales were very modest. We can still order items until half way through December, but I've already had to return the display stock that they provided. Probably one of the best made and nicest looking accessories ever made for pool/billiards, but so many small reasons for people not to buy... Although people are happy to pay £25 for a consumable like a block of high-tech chalk, these beautiful items were too expensive, people were scared they'll leave it at the club, get nicked, too flashy, simply don't need a chalk holder - such a shame, as they were such a nice team to work with and they sponsored everyone and everything in the industry with their advertising too! I bet if they made Qpod style jewelery and sold it to the general public they would do better - it's just they way it is! Here's wishing the Qpod team all the best with their future endeavours! ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor

Is indeed a shame; thought the quality of their range was fantastic (German engineering!). And the way they embraced sponsorship of individuals (e.g. Thorsten Hohmann) and the EuroTour etc.

I can finally afford the one I want now! Sad to hear of them closing though.
