I can't wait to see this???? Apparently it's the official rack at the World Cup of Pool!

My sources say it hasn't arrived in Manila yet! As soon as I get a picture I'll publish it here!

I really like the Delta - 13 racks made from aluminium. No gimmic just very well made and do the job very well.

The maker supplied some for the wheelchair tour and players really like them.

There's good and bad points to all designs - but if we didn't try to improve things then we'd still all be driving cars powered by steam. I hate change just as much as the next guy, especially if it involves a break with tradition, but ultimately there will be progress.

Wooden racks are only good as their design, construction and the quality of wood used to make them :)

Metal racks can be accurate and very hardwearing, but just like a 40mph break shot, they're all noise :)

The only good plastic racks around are the hard ABS plastic ones available in the Pro Shop (Free plug for you BigDave :-D lol) and they're cheap, cheerful and they do the job very well, in fact they have been most often used in Matchroom events like the WPC, Mosconi Cup, etc, over the years :)

Mechanical Racks like Chameleon, Sardo, etc, are only good if the cloth is new and you are willing to take the time to keep racking the balls untill the rack area has "Settled", for the balls to rack more consistently :)

Racking by hand is only good if you REALLY KNOW how to do it right and not having to rely on pre-tapped tables, if you rack by hand and rely on tapped tables, then you're not racking by hand, you're only 'spotting' the balls in place :)

Like BigDave has said, all racks have their good and bad points, and I thought that I would post this reply to highlight some of thosee points :)

Also, when you buy a new rack of balls, there is no guarantee that they're all going to be precisely the same diametre as they can be the slightest fraction of a difference in the diameters and although the margins may seem insignificant, it can and mostly likely does make a difference in being able to get a frozen or defrosted rack :)

Willie

Sources at Predator say the AeroRack won't be available until October.

Let me guess........ Its made out of some super hi-tech, anti static, low deflection plastic that ensures a tight rack and guarantees you'll make at least 3 balls and park the cue ball dead (only when used in conjunction with a BK2, limited edition predator super glove and predator max power chalk)

Made in china.

RRP £199.99
