So who do you reckon will win the final? John Higgins or Shaun Murphy? Neck and neck at the moment... Will it finish close or will the longer race provide a clear winner?

not sure on the score ut i think murphy will get the better of higgins. John looks very tired and is feeling the pressure badly when he's kept off the table.... Murphy looks strong if he can get used to the slightly slow run of the table...

thats what i think anyway ;) :D

Murphy seems to have upped his game slightly, Higgins looking tired. Both players making daft mistakes. Never write off the Wishy Wizard.

I reckon it'll be Higgins, but closer... Mmmm... I'd love a hill-hill final!

Final result...

John Higgins 18 : 9 Shaun Murphy

So I was right then - it WAS close!!! :D

(I can't believe I cooked pasta and then fell asleep before the final session started - gutted after I watched so much of the other 17 days!!!)

Was it good?

Awful. I would of been gutted to have final session tickets and see 20 minutes play. Murphy was so far behind he could not play. He had chances to at least win another one or two. But it was only a matter of time.

Higgins missed a simple yellow, to mess up making a ton in the last frame - Rubbish!

Not a classic. Not even in the top 10! ;-)

WOW... Really? I didn't think of that! Would they have done something to add value for the ticket payers?

I'm delighted that Higgins won it once again. I have been betting on him religiously every year since 1997 when he started playing in Churchills (Rileys Glasgow for the part time supporters). He quit playing there many years ago, but i always enjoyed watching him in there - even beat him at pool once =) Good banter at the bar too, loads of time for the guy!

Anyway, thats 3 times my bet has come in, and at serious profit overall, last time was 16-1, this time was 18/1 - can't remember the first one but it was good too. Happy days. Many more please John!!!

Also got a correct score with the 13-12 vs Selby =P
