Is or has anyone used these on a break cue yet, if so what they like?

I need something with a bit more power but will keep the accuracy.

I really don't like phenolic tips on break cues as i tend to miss hit lots.

I currently am playing with a Pred BK 1 with a Tiger Jump/Break tip.

Cheers, suggestions welcome.

I have tried them and i would say don't bother.

I'm not knocking the product but i had one installed on my BK2 it broke ok not as good as the original.
After just one week the leather part of the tip failed and went straight thru my ferrulle and into my shaft leaving me with a nice crack all way done my ferrule and a centimeter into my shaft meaning a broke shaft and costing me £100 to replace it.

It was put on by a reputable cuemaker/repairer on a lathe.

My suggestion if you dont like the phenolic tips is to try the samsara break tips they are reasonably new to the market and perfrom exceptionally well.

OB Cues were very nice to me and i got the first OB break shaft released and this came with a samsara tip.

The tip is described as

SAMSARA ALL LEATHER JUMP/BREAK TIPS

The Samsara laminated jump/break tips are quickly establishing themselves as the best jump/break tips in the market. Jump and break with control and english! The special manufacturing process to make these tips has made them feel as hard as phenolic without any of the drawbacks!

All leather and no plastic make these tips legal to use in all playing formats that allow jumping. They will not harm the cue ball with extended play like some of the hard plastics used today.

A timely reminder to anyone is, if your cue comes with a black tip pad - NEVER remove it - as it is part of the cue.

My black pad wasn't removed and it still failed..it may of been a one off but i certianly wouldn't try it again...but JMO
