Folks,
I'm looking to book my flights / hotel etc for the Weert Euro Tour. Can anyone who has been to this event in the past recommend the best travel route. Eindhoven seems to be the nearest airport, but only goes from Stansted / Heathrow.
Are there any other routes to consider from 'up north'?
Best regards. Surgeon..

We just went to Amsterdam and got the train to Weert. It's around 2.5 hours on the train I believe but it did make for cheaper more flexible flight options. We also used it as an excuse to have a last night in Amsterdam before getting the flight home. Try BMI Baby from East Mids and Jet2 from Leeds Bradford.

Cheers Riggers, that sounds like a plan mate. What did you pay for the train then?

You got me there but they are not too bad. My guess would be about £20-£30 return (though you have to buy single tickets over there). You can just get your ticket using your switch card from a machine in the airport station.

OK here's a proper answer: It's 34.50 Euro return and you can get times from here[ This message was edited by: Riggers on 2006-06-09 11:22 ]

I'd love to but only have 3 days hols left so I can only really use it for one event. One of the Spanish events is favourite for me if and when I get back to full fitness.
