Hi,

Im Hud and im 27 from Belfast. I played snooker for about 10 years to a pretty decent standard. I used to practice every day but when i left school and had to get a job i hadnt got the time for the game and slowly drifted away from it. I still love the game but find pool less time consuming playing at the level i play at. Im going to the EPT in Manchester and hope this revives my interest in practicing to achieve better things.

I prefer 9-Ball but the interest levels dont seem to be the same.

Hello all, I'm G West. Orginally from Yorkshire,(so I'm a fan of Dazzler and nearly as good -honest!) I've been in London 10 years. Used to play marbles (English 8-ball) for years, visited many a dodgy pub but got tired of only playing 2 games a week, so got into 9-ball and haven't looked back.

I tend to stick to local comps, leagues and dabble in the BPPPA when it comes to town. Just love the game and hearing any pool related gossip. I also enjoy taking mickey out of the Scots! :-D

Hi there Hud, welcome to another hot house of Cool Cats :)

It's gonna take alot of hard work though Hud, I hadn't really played in that many tournaments myself since last March, in fact I don't even play on the irish tour and when you haven't been competeing or practicing, it is pretty tough to get back what you had and even then, you'll maybe only recover about 80% of that knowledge and ability at best :), but I know one thing, all that you can do is try and take it in steps, you will get there buddy :)

Experfluke :), you're getting worse, but I'll say one thing, the Scotish guys know how to wear their hearts on their sleeves and have a darn good time doing it :) and also, I got a few good friends in Scotland :)

It it better to be a Brave Scotsman, than a Yorkshir Pudding :P lol

Take care everyone :)

Willie
