Goooooooooooooo Jason! Who is he up against? Apparently it's on the smaller table but uses American size pockets and you use a normal snooker/8 ball cue - is that right ? [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2010-11-13 13:25 ]

Jayson Shaw wins 8 - 3 to become World Blackball Pool Champion!
He trailed 2 - 3 and won 6 games in one visit (3 from the break) to secure the match!
It was an incredible performance and all in less than 60 minutes!

Well done to Jason, he played awesome. Loved the shot where he swerved to cannon the red in after snookering himself

Massive win for Jayson, he played awesome.
Blackball is played on a normal 7ft english pool table (same size as EPA or WEPF), the pockets are the same as your local club table, not American style pockets at all. Those bags were quite bug though.
2" object balls and 1-7/8" white as usual.

"Or maybe he just made them look big"
More than likely! I think that the pockets on a Supreme Prince are 3" and these may have been slightly larger but nothing more than that!

if i am correct that was a sam english pool table!we used to have them at east leeds snooker club years ago.the pockets are massive compared to supreme pool tables but the middles are slightly narrower.so yes you can hammer them down the rail.
great game to watch jason played awesome.

agree kam,ive had one and the corner bags are like buckets, middle bags from an angle are not easy,i use to pot the ones that awere tight in the bottom bags due to the size, like 9 ball bags
