Hi all It may sound and probably is a daft question, but I am reading up on the shaft car for the revo shaft as it says to use wipes with 90% isopropyl alcohol. My question is if I use wipes with 70% will that damage the finish of the shaft ??? My thinking is not as less alcohol content but while wait for a email back off predator I thought I would try and ask the guys that have or know about the revo shaft. Thx in advance Taz

Taz, isopropanol is harm to wood in high strenghts however I use it on my predator 314/2 but its only 50%. Id recomend to use any strenght what work for you which means to get rid of chalk and grease from the shaft. Id say lower is safer.

I have had two responses from predator as I sent one on email and one in live chat messenger. Both came back exactly the same word for word. Both saying they recommend using the REVO Wipes and not any other productsas can change the low friction surface and not clean the revo shaft enough. I can understand why they recommend there own brand wipes, so I ask another person who is a chemist and had the response of you would find it hard to see the difference between the 70% and 90% saturated wipes. So I decided to buy a batch off 70% wipes and got 100 wipes for less than £2, where as the REVO Wipes are £30+ for 50 wipes. Thx for info guys. [ This message was edited by: Taz on 2017-11-28 08:26 ]
