Well where do ya start
Mr A Appleton take a bow awesome day/night brilliant atmosphere, pressure unbearable, lights, music, interviews everything ya doing a fantastic job pal Well done mate.
Kev unlucky mate ya played well at beginning i just needed the first rack to get me going ya potted most things that i left very impressed with ya game want to apologise for the fluke in one of the later racks that Daz has mentioned in his earlier post was nasty , i think pal if i hadn't have potted the 3 jump shots you could have been further in front so sorry about that(oops) you'll be winning these eventually mate
Like to say well done to Gibbo/Newman great results that lads quality pool solid wins did what you had to , heads up both lee's hard games you'll be back with out a doubt.
Dixon/Arfan quality match from what i saw both potting really well seen both of ya pull some right clearances out of bag well done to both of ya defo be one to watch on cue sport tv Arfan quality again heard ya was solid all through out stayed with Dixon and had the bigger bite at the end unlucky Dixon put it this way complete different player for money than in tournament play chin up big guy ya'l get it next time.
Ben , Andy , Shane and Matt didn't see any of ya games but have heard, unlucky losers same again experience and learning curve you'l be back. very well done to winners hard games them , dug deep and got there in the end
Vegas sports bar / staff thanks very much made very welcome once again
also cuesporttv welldone to ya both again .

I don't normally do these sppeches on websites but i'll make an exception coz this mmtv thing is awesome and deserves all the credit it gets. I think everyone that has posted already has more or less said everything i would have said.

Andy's got a great thing going on here and it can only get bigger because every player wants to be part of it and the fans love it. Keep up the good work pal.

Thanks to cuesport tv for always working their socks off in bringing live coverage to the armchair fans, lol!! They do a cracking job and are hugely responsible for making the game of pool bigger and better so again, keep up the excellent work guys!

Now to the match and what more can i say other than it was the best match i've been involved in and probably my best american pool performance ever and it had to be because i was playing an animal. Craig, i've already told you but just want to say it again, you played awesome pal and i want to thank you for bringing out my best game because anything less wouldn't have been enough. If you play like that on the gb9 pal, you'll take some beating so hopefully i've given you a wake up call and contributed to you hopefully not drinking during these events because you'll be dangerous if you're sober and on your game.

I want to thank my own friends too who backed me and trusted their hard earnt cash on my ability, i'm happy i came through for you all. Also, appreciated the comments from Eric and Simon who were obviously cheering their boy on but you both had good words to say about me which i truly appreciate.

Well done to Gibbo and Phil on their wins, i didn't watch most of your matches but to win on your mmtv debuts is an achievement in its own right.

Nelly, another great result and excellent comeback from such a slow start so that shows your battling qualities which are so so important in these long races. To know that you've got the ability to bounce back from early setbacks is an excellent tool to have. You've had some monster results these past few months so keep it up pal.

Shane's match was very nerve racking to watch, they just kept on trading blows with each other until 14-14 where Shane has played flawless really to win comfortably in the end but it was anything but early doors. Matt is a really sound bloke too so i felt for him at the same time as he played a good match but unfortuantely it wasn't enough. Well done Shane, chuffed to bits for you!!

Ben's match was just crazy, that's the best way to describe it, lol. Ben started off slowly by his standards but came back awesomely from 11-5 to 11-11. From there on both players just traded blows, their were missed pots, ridiculous pots and the atmosphere was electric. Barney boy ended up nicking it at the end so fair play to him and hard lines to Ben, you'll bounce back pal as you're a great player so learn from this defeat and use it to win your next one!!

Looking forward to the next event providing it doesn't fall on 15th October as i'm away that weekend. Hopefully it's the weekend after so i can experience the same atmosphere again even though you're shitting your pants, lol!!!

got to agree with everyone not much else u can add.these events just get better and better.when u watch it looks awesoem but when ur invloved and playin its unreal.ive played pool for 20 years and played in major finals finals of national team events but nothing came close to what i felt out there.the buzz u get just winnin won frame is unreal.u feel like you`ve won a world title when u win ive never got so excited but just couldnt help it.when u got so mant people watching and cheerin u on just gives u that massive boost to play well.im over moon how i played last 2 months ive been on fire.but u never know how ur gonna play under those conditions but after takin a good finish out in first game i felt good and enjoyed every minute of it.and from 14 all played flawless to win.would like to say thankyou for matt challenging me it was a tough game for us both ur a great player with loads of potential to be one of the best no danger.put the hard work in and def will be.also like to say thankyou to all my pals who backed me and had faith in me too to win means so much to me and reason why i gave it everything and never lost my focus.also big thnakyou to andy for putting these events together these are just unreal the best thing in uk to happen to american pool.if u play pool then u have to play in these the best thing u will play in by a mile.also big thanks to cuesport tv for all teh hard work they do putting these events live on internet what an amazing job they do.

also a big well done to everyone who played and those who won.gibbo played awesome and potted them off the lamp shades was very impressed with his game he wil ltake soem beating.unlucky lee u let that push shot get to u but u will learn from it ur a great player too.

im over moon for phil although lee is a great friend too so hard to cheer for any of them.i for one didnt think phil could win i just though lee was too strong and his safety would be too good.but to be fair phil hung in and played some great pool and knovked in some great pressure shots well done pal.

the game between arfan and craig was one of best ive seen both played really well but arfan played awesome under pressure to coem through.ive never felt so nervous watchin anyone so pleased for u m8.unlucky craig u will be back.and liek arfan says if u play like that on tour u will take some beatin for sure.

also wanna say well done to andy beating ben i was gutted for ben because i know how much it means to him to win and he showed it at the end.i didnt see, much of game because i was playin but i think the slow start did u.but u showed heart and bottle to coem back.and was unlucky a few bad rolls and good ones from andy was the key in the end.the double combo andy got at 19 all was a crazy shot not sure he played it but was the match winner really.chin up ben ur an awesoem player as everyone knows u will be back no danger.

really cant wait for the next one now.

Have to agree with all the comments on here, best night's anywhere for pool in the uk!

Well done to all the winners, especially jump shot Dave, no need to apologise for them mate they were the Two best shots in the match and probably of the hole day! And as for the golden break, it hurt but it's part of the game so no hard feelings there mate.

The support for all the matches was fantastic! Am i the first to think Dixon vs Dad 2?

Thanks to Andy once again, awsome show mate hope i can get back on soon....

To be honest 5 of the 6 matches played were absolute thrillers and any of them would be worthy of rematches if all involved and Andy were in agreement.

If rematches are to happen it has to be in a few months, don't think the day would be the same if repeated straight away,

Plus there are plenty of players that want to get in on the action that are yet to play

Yes I agree with Pete and Shane. I'm certainly not asking for a rematch because I have a mountain to climb to rebuild my game and it's not gonna happen overnight but I was just saying those were some very special matches and would certainly attract big viewing if any rematches were held - especially Arfan v Craig & Ben v Barney. I'd pay money to watch either of those again. I don't think I've seen anything quite like those matches before.

Wow ! where to start what a weekend and what a day saturday was. First off i would just like to thank all the staff at Vegas sports bar (magg's, oliva, chris, shoka and of course Mr Andy appleton. You are all doing a fantastic job in vegas sports bar and for American pool in the UK and the crowd of lads that you have going in there are second to none. since i started playing 9 ball about 7 weeks ago you have all made me feel like i am part of the club and have met people who i class as friends for life and thats priceless!!

Right back to Saturday i loved every minute of it from the smoke machine to enter and the flashing lights with the music really gets the hairs on me neck standing up. This is by far the best event i have ever had the pleasure to play in and just cant wait till the next one now......

Also a well done to other winners Dave, phil,Andy, shane,Afan, all great games in there own right! Amazing that everyone who won last time not one won this time!! ( hope this is not a omen lol) Also hard lines to the guys who lost. Alot of close games on the day could have gone either way by all accounts. Had to miss the afternoon and evening matches due to family commitments but will be watching them at a later date.

Finally a big thank you to Cuesport.TV for making the event open to the masses. Also to all that Believed in the Entertainer and trusted there Dollars on me and travelled to surport me in this match.

BRING ON NEXT MONTH!!

If calsberg did money matches this would be it!!!!

Final word FANTASTIC!

Get yourself down to a MMTV event you will never see anything else ANYWHERE like it...

just wanna add to what everyone else is saying really, the event that andy has set up is different class!!! If you havent been to one yet you really need to experience it live in the venue, the atmosphere was electric!

full credit goes to ben finch and his army of supporters, the noise they made was unreal, always knew it would a tough match as bens a great player and competitor, chin up ben, you'll be back pal.

not to be outdone though, the barney army made just as much noise and definately gave as good as they got, big thanks to all who came to support me, u made the night.

Well done to all the players, winners and losers, just competing in them conditions deserves respect. it was a pleasure to be part of mmtv4, enjoyed the whole day, met some great people and the buzz was immense.

congrats to Andy Appleton and Pete and Angie from cuesport tv for putting this event together, it can only get bigger and better and i cant wait for MMTV5!!!!!

Barneyboi..................ready for action ;-)

What can I add to all thats already been said...

Congratulations to all the winners.
Commiserations to all the losers (They say you learn more in defeat!)

You all contributed to a veritable feast of Pool on the day!

This was my first vist to the Vegas Bar and it did not disappoint.

Super Venue, nice tables typical warm Yorkshire hospitality..

Funniest memory of the weekend..
"Darren "Dancing Bear" Appleton
Doing a three step sideways shuffle while trying to shake my hand.
More a case of "Dymanite fall over any minute!"
Just as well you play pool better than you drink pal LOL

Andy, Jenny, Shoka and all those involved..
Thankyou for a fantastic weekend!
The MMTV weekends are a must "do experience" for all pool lovers.

I will definately be back for the next one!

PRO9 has established an outstanding reputation as Europes No.1 source for information on American Pool in the UK and Europe. Upcoming tournament details, prompt match reporting, exclusive images by talented photographers, superb articles by expert pundits, active pool related forums, player profiles and a very sophisticated membership - basically, an incredible information resource for the American style game in Europe.
Since it launched, PRO9 has become compulsory reading, not just for the UKs pool players, but to hundreds and thousands of pool obsessives from around the world every single day.
PRO9s members range from professional pool players, cue-sports enthusiasts, club managers, tournament organisers, pool fans and aficionados, as well as various "movers and shakers" in the cue-sports field, including entrepreneurs in the wholesale and retail sector, as well as magazine editors and television sports promoters.
Growing more and more popular every single year, PRO9 is the best placed vehicle for the promotion of your pool club, billiards brand, associated products, services and opportunities in the truly massive pan-European billiard market.
