Andy Barnet 21-19 Ben Finch

Top class game but the major point was at 19-19 when Barnet went for a "ridiculous" shot (as described by Ben Moore), where he banked the 4 off of the side cushion, into the 9, which went in the side. Good clearance int he last game and Andy wins

COME ON BARNEY!!!!

Arfan dad and craig dixon was by far the best match. They both played great pool and in the end Arfan got a few good breaks and took advantage. Dixon was playing some ridiculas shots to be fair but kept making them. So who is next Arfan. I'm very proud of u mate and also dave nelson he played some good pool too. I really enjoyed it and can't wait for the next one. Wish I could get a game.

Play Daz Chris :-P

Joking aside, sounded like a great day. Wish I could have made it, but I had a clutch on Porsche that kept telling me no :-o

Congrats to everyone who won and unlucky to those who lost ;-)

Congrats to all the winners. Some brilliant pool was played and this was by far the best MMTV yet.

Obviously I was disappointed to lose my game but going into the game I was in bits with no confidence whatsoever and I knew deep down I was not right mentally for the game. That showed as I really could hardly pot a ball. Phil on the other hand surprised a lot of people and played very very solid pool. He missed a few balls here and there but rarely missed any crucial ones and held his nerve very well in the end. I've now got to try and suss out if there's any way for me to get back to a decent standard and I'm just not sure at the moment.

Thankfully I finished slightly up on the day thanks to all my pals winning and me getting some side action on their matches. All my match predictions came true - I know I said on here I would win but I obviously had to say that publicly even though I knew I would probably lose. So I actually got all 6 results spot on.

Many congratulations to Andy, Pete and Ange for another awesome event.

Well played Arfan great match. Was impressed how you came back after missing couple of easy balls in middle of match, I've seen many good players let it get to them & fall apart in similar situations. But you just carried on playing your game didn't let it affect you.

Also well played Dave, didn't see your game. But if you can learn to start winning frames at beginning of matches you'll be unbeatable
:lol: .

What a night! This was quite possibly the best day of pool in the UK ever. The setting, the games, the players and the atmosphere could not be surpassed. The drama was just too much to take in places. Well done to all the winners and unlucky to the losers.

Stand outs for me were:

Arfan showing supreme class and ability when faced with a total onslaught from Craig, fair play to the man in bringing home the cheese;

Phil Newman silencing a lot of critics (me included) that he could not win and looking like a seasoned pro amongst the balls, well done pal;

Gibbo putting on a masterclass against Lee Brett;

Nelly doing what he always does and doing it well. Kev is an animal potter but Nelly stuck in there and did the biz;

Barney and Ben having possibly one of the most exciting matches I have ever seen anywhere in the world. Unfortunate that there had to be a loser with these too class acts but Barney just showed an extra bit of experience on the night and did it for him and his big crowd of supporters. Unlucky Ben, you will be back;

Dynamites ability to drink two bottles of budwiser and get drunk, cheap night pal.

The real big one for the night is Shane Appletons game against Matt Lawrenson. Shane has put in a lot of practice and I am so happy for him that it has paid off. He is now a total force in 9 ball and will give most of the top boys a good, even game. My feeling is he has stepped up another level again and he showed his true grit and determination on the night. A class performance by a class act. Well done pal.

Big up to Andy Appleton, Shoka and the rest of their team for putting this together and well done to Cuesport TV for being there and sharing the nights entertainment with the world.

Can't wait for the next one, I was challenged live on air so hope I can get a game!

Si

Wow....Mr Lester....no need to write it 20 times, I can see you want revenge lol. That 9 ball will be in your dreams for a few years hahahahahaha.

You will have to get in line I am afraid, Mickey Pyne threw down the gauntlet and as long as thats ok with The Dog, that match is cast iron. Match for Andy Lester should be Eric Dockerty I feel. Great, even game that one. What say, Mr Lester?

well obviously this match had more banter than anything,dixon is my best buddy n wanted him to win obviuosly,the match was a classic and both players didnt dissapoint,just spectatin i was nervous as the devils playground for both players,unlcuky mate you played well,arfan showed his class and played some superb stuff,a real joy to watch arfan,i know i had banter on and off here but honestly pal,your one of the best guys in pool and deserved your victory,top man mr dad

nelly v simpson

heard a few people before this match sayin kev couldnt win or would not win,at the time i thought you havnt a clue that your on about,ive had the pleasure of playin kev and he is very dangerous,he set off like lighting and i thought he was goin to win well,nelly had other ideas and really shown you have to drag him off the table to beat him as he did against ben,another game with some great pool bein played,well done lads

6.30pm

which game do you start with

ben v andy

never witnessed owt like this game before,ultimate match to view for everyone,bens charactor and will to win is unreal,really thrives on the crowd and pressure,obviously he was upset to lose but that goes to show how much he wanted to win,you played and awesome mate and didnt let anyone down,couldnt have asked for anymore,joy to watch pal

first time ive seen andy play and met him,top class guy and awesome player,makes the game look really easy at times but really isnt,true pro of the game and never let anything faze him,anyone wanted to learn how its done shoudl watch andy for many reasons,massive shot of the game which we all know 19-19 and bankin a ball onto the 9 to get him on the hill,awesome shot,top class game boys

shane v matt

really hard game to call and both very different players

another spunker of a game,shane absolutely solid in every department and played top class pool,joy to watch

matt one of the best talents on the amateur circuit without a doubt and also played some superb pool,these boys are rated level 9 players but am sure wont be long before theres a 10 at the side of there names,in my eyes

one of the best things thats happened to pool in the uk what andy has done at vegas sports bar,really cant wait till the next one,if anyone hasnt been to one of these you really must go or watch on cuesporttv

cant wait to be a part of this and play on mmtv,just hope i dont shat in the hole and chop me way round the table lol,if any players doesnt get nervous then there not human

well done to all involved and roll on the next one
