Souquet tops Feijen in Greece!!!
Germany's Ralf Souquet battled his way though an enormous field of players to win the 2008 Gema 9-Ball Open at the weekend, edging out Dutchman Niels Feijen with an 11-9 score in the final in the Greek capital.
Organiser, Mr Nikos Berberidis said, "5 World Champions came to face the best players of the Greek championships". Berberides also said, "the level was high and it was a unique spectacle" of the tournament that was also attended by almost legendary American player - Earl Strickland.
128 players participated in a double elimination format tournament - followed by the Last 16 single elimination rounds.
