Listed below are the groups for the 2008 Ireland’s Invitation 8Ball Pro-Am Pool Classic and all players are reminded to make sure to have full details sorted before travelling and making arrangements such as times, dress code etc.

Group Seeding:
The only seeding that will take place for this pro-am tournament will be one invitation seed placed in each group.
The following players listed below have been given a group seed in the round robin group stages with five places given to players from the Irish Pool Association and Ireland’s Pub Players 8Ball Pool Tours with details in brackets why they received it, and all group seeds and the official group draw was drawn at random.

Group Format:
Each player will play each other in own group.
The top two players in each group goes into knockout stages.
All group winners will play a group runner-up in there first knockout match. (open draw).
Knockout Stages:
There will be only one draw made for the knockout stages (no seeding).
All group winners plays a group runner-up in first knockout match (last-32, open draw).
Rules:
A full list of rules for the event will be advertised on the notice board in the tournament venue.
