Popular 9 Ball League revamps and relaunches!
The Chichester 9 Ball League is the longest continually running American 9 Ball League in the UK and possibly the most successful too.
Never a club to rest on it's laurels, it has decided to revamp it's entry fee structure to attract even more new players to the fold, so players outside the top 40 ranked players will now pay a mere £1 for the first week and then £2 for the second, increasing by £1 per week until the full normal price is reached... Seems like an excellent idea!

Chichester 9 Ball League
For newcomers - That means players who are not on our current top 40 rankings - they can enter the tournament for only a pound.
This will rise to two, three and four pounds in the following three weeks. After that they must pay the normal entry fee of a fiver.
It is handicapped in a race to four racks and these range from +2 racks for an absolute beginner up to -2+8.
The highest handicap was held by Fabio Petroni when he played there. He had to score twelve racks before a scratch player had to score two.
Most new players will start off with a -2+1 on their first two weeks but this may be adjusted at the club's discretion.
There is a plate competition which is free if you lose your first match (unless you are paying the reduced entry fee when it will cost an extra pound.
Three times a year the top sixteen from the rankings play in an exclusive event for extra money. Everybody is welcome - if you cannot hold a cue to the professionals.
Entries close at 8.30pm but if you phone in advance to ensure a place in the draw, you can arrive for 8.45pm start time.

New players pay £1 for 1st week, then £2 for 2nd etc.. Until full £5

H'CAP SYSTEM: Give and receive high rack starts
