This is one of only two chances to qualify in Europe for a share of the $2,000,000 prize fund on offer at the IPT North American 8-Ball Open Championship

The 25 locations for qualifiers have been announced and the only two European qualifiers are NA-09 and NA-24... The first is in Switzerland and the second is will be at a venue in the UK.

Entry fees need to be paid in advance (absolutely no entries are accepted on the day) so download the forms from here and ensure a spot in one of the limited fields for the IPT North American Open Qualifiers being held in Europe.

Remember, over $2 million dollars in prize money will be earned by the 200 players, $350,000 for first place, but more importantly last place will win $2,000!!!

This is a Pro9.co.uk promotion. Please only download the forms if you are happy to accept www.pro9.co.uk as your referrer. If this is unacceptable then you'll need to find an alternative source as these forms are specifically for www.pro9.co.uk and must not be altered. We've tried our best to simplify the process as much as possible by providing a Microsoft Word file that can be printed, then filled in with a pen and faxed or posted to the IPT, and you can use the same form to enter ANY of the IPT North American Open qualifiers. Please support Pro9.co.uk... To date, and to the best of our knowledge, we are the only web site offering this information in Europe... Remember, you saw it here FIRST!!!

$1,000 Entry Fee Option

Players may pay a $1,000 entry fee into the qualification tournaments. If the player advances as one of the top two players at the qualifying tournament, he/she secures a spot in the respective IPT Tournament with the guarantee to receive the full prize payout he/she has earned. As a bonus, players who pay the $1,000 entry fee and place third through sixth in any qualification tournament will earn a free entry into another qualification tournament of their choice. Players paying the $1,000 entry fee will also earn points cumulatively throughout the tournaments they play in, based on their prize earnings. If a player is ranked in the top 100 on the “money list” at the end of the 2006 season, he/she will qualify to earn a 2007 Tour Card without having to compete in the 2007 Qualification Tournament!

$500 Entry Fee Option

Players may pay an entry fee of only $500 into the qualification tournaments. With this option, if the player advances as one of the top two players at the qualifying tournament, securing a spot in the respective IPT Tournament, he/she will be eligible for only half of the full prize payout he/she has earned. For example, if a player took second place in the tournament, and second place paid out $150,000, the player who paid the $500 entry fee would receive a check from the IPT for $75,000; whereas the player who paid the $1,000 entry fee would receive a check for the full $150,000. Players who pay the $500 entry fee and place third through sixth in any qualification tournament will not earn a free entry into another qualification tournament. In addition, the players who choose to pay the $500 entry fee will not accumulate any points toward the “money list,” regardless of the player’s IPT prize earnings for 2006. Therefore, even if the player comes in as one of the top 100 prize earners, he/she will still have to place in the top 50 in the 2007 Qualification Tournament to earn a 2007 Tour Card.

There are 25 qualification tournaments around the world where the top two players will earn entry into the IPT North American 8-Ball Open Championship. The maximum number of players at each tournament will vary based on the number of tables available and other factors. The number of entrants allowed is very limited in many tournament venues, so entry is first-come, first-served. Entry fees must be made in advanced. Absolutely no entry fees will be accepted at the door.

Coming in first or second in the qualifier earns you entry into the IPT North American 8-Ball Open Championship. Over $2 million dollars in prize money will be earned by the 200 players. First place is $350,000. More importantly, last place is $2000! Also, any non-IPT member who places in the top six in the IPT North American 8-Ball Open Championship will earn automatic invitations to play in the 2006 IPT Players Championship and IPT Masters Championship. Over $2.5 million in prize money will be given away at these two championships.
