Ginger Magician claims another premier event in Ireland
Paddy Mc Loughlin put in another fine performance to be crowned Tyrone 9-Ball Champion when he beat practice partner Paul Canavan with a scoreline of 9-7.
Paul ''The Cannon'' Canavan came out on top in the early exchanges, racing into a 4-0 lead, crushing the Irish Number One on any slight mistake he made.

At 5-1 to Canavan this is when the Irish Number One Paddy started to buzz!!!
The ''Comeback Kid'' as he is now known has played flawless pool to race into a 7-5 lead taking six racks on the spin.
Paddy looked as though he was going to lead 8-5 but an easy missed 5ball let the ''Belfast Bomber'' in to clinch the 13th frame to make it 7-6 in favour of Paddy.
A break finish from Canavan made it 7-7 and the pressure was now mounting on both players. Both knew how important the 15th frame would be as they would only need one more for victory and after misses from both players it was Paddy who clinched it and needed one more for victory and Canavan needing one to put this exciting final into a decider.
Mc Loughlin winds the break up and crushes the pack failing to make a ball!! He returns to his chair and drops his head into his hands as the pressure is starting to show....
Canavan comes to the table where a good safety looks the shot!!! Canavan gets down and plays an audicous combination and rattles the 5ball and lets in Paddy for his chance to take the title!!!
Can he do it???
Mc Loughlin studies the run out and pots one-six and under-hits the 7ball and leaves himself very bad on the 8ball and needs an amazing shot to get to the 9!!!
He produces a trademark screw shot the full length of the table and lands bang on the 9!!!
His fist goes into the air with delight as he rolls in the 9ball to clinch his 2nd title of the year and extend his lead at the top of the Irish rankings!!!
