The Second Round of The Pro Team League

I would like to invite you for the second round of the Pro Team League. This day will be held on Saturday the 23rd of December in Raxx in Groningen. After the last round in Nootdorp we have got two teams leading the competition, Dijkjes F&M Tornado's and Club 8. We also have four teams on the fourth place, Sapenta Blaak, Dijkje Duinzigt, Thurston/Mezz Cues and Infinity Wageningen. A lot of teams with equal points. Will this round in Groningen change all of that? It sure will be an exciting day.

About the Pro Team League

The Pro Team League is the strongest and most prestigious pool competition of Europe. With top players such as Niels Feijen, Alex Lely, Nick van den Berg (all multiple European and Dutch champions), Tom Storm (multiple European and Swedish Champion), Torbjörn Blomdahl (multiple World Champion Three Cushion Billiards), Imran Majid (No.1 UK) and Marco Tschudi (No.1 Switzerland) the level of play is incredibly high.


About the format of the Pro Team League

The 8 strongest clubs of the Netherlands compete for the title Dutch Champion, prize money and international participation in the European Team Cup. All the teams come together on a league day in one single venue. Each team plays two matches divided into a morning and an afternoon session.

Every match contains the following disciplines:

2 x 9-ball ( race to 9 )
1 x 8-ball ( race to 8 )
1 x Straight Pool ( race to 125 )
1 x 8-Ball Doubles ( race to 7 )

The best four team advance to the spectacular Play-Off Final Weekend. No. 1 plays against No. 4 and the No. 2 against No. 3. the winners of the semi finals play-off for the Dutch championship.
