On Saturday 30 April Arena Billiards hosted its first 10 ball open. Interest was high for the tournament but due to some players unable to attend we had 28 paid entries. On the day two players could not make it so we were down to 26. The format for the day was double elimination up to the quarter finals, with four players from the main/winners side and four from the losers side to battle it out in the knockout final eight. It was race to 8 on the winners side and a race to 6on the losers side and winner breaks throughout.
