Bergen Open Invites International Entrants
Another edition of the popular Bergen Open has been announced for June - this will be the sixth annual running of this tournament and the event regularly features heavily added prize money with this year's additional sum amounting to a whopping 50,000 Norwegian Krona boosting the pot, making this a very sweet deal for players from all over Europe, so get signed up now for your share of the action.
The 2016 Bergen Open 9-Ball is sanctioned by EPBF as a Category C tournament.
This means that you will get points towards your European Ranking (just like Euro Tours) so subsequently this has been made a no handicap tournament but with different entry fees for different standards of players. The format will be double elimination from 64-16 or from 132-32, and single elim from then onwards.
Ralf Souquet is the defending champion and everyone is hoping to see him there again this year - he's confirmed as long as there is no other tournament in which he is contractually obliged to participate.
