Fight Night International 006 - Appleton vs. Compton
Finally it's here... Tonight is THE NIGHT! The much anticipated match between 2 Time US Open Champion Darren Appleton and 2 Time Fight Nights One Pocket Champion Chip Compton!
More and more we've seen Appleton making progress at the most complex pool disciplines, and One-Pocket is widely acknowledged as the real "thinking man's" game of pool where tactics and strategy are just as important as flawless shotmaking, but this could be the Yorkshireman's toughest challenge yet as he takes on one of the USA's finest exponents of the game, on what must feel like Compton's home stomping ground.
Can Appleton pull off another victory against all odds? He has been practicing on his newly installed home table, and we all know he loves challenging himself with money matches. Apparently the money on the table has actually exceeded the stated $20,000, and he sounds confident too! It's ON!! Fight Night International 006! Tracy Whitney has offered up High Pockets Memphis once again for another Fight Night Duel. One of the most decorated English invaders to the U.S Pool scene 2 time U.S Open Champion Darren Appleton will be taking on the classy young gun from Oklahoma and Reigning 2 Time Fight Nights Champion Chip Compton.
