Total 9 Ball UK Open Championship 2013
The Countdown begins to The T9B UK Open Championship held at the home of 9-Ball in the UK, of course it's Mickey Flynns in Cambridge. We are currently just a week away from the first running of this fantastic event. Players from all over the country have entered in the hope of becoming the T9B UK Champion.
The entrants include Craig Osborne, Imran Majid, Kevin Uzzell, Mark Gray, Richard Jones and So Shaw to name a few - also involved will be last season's Amateur Series Grand Final Winner, Jonathan Vaughan, and top wheelchair player Aslam Abubaker.
The format used for this event is the T9B created 2x 'Undefeated' format which is quoted by many players as the best format used in the UK... Offering players two guaranteed tense knockout matches and the chance of getting into the prize money twice. Will we get our first Double Winner?

This will be the first T9B event to use the Winner Breaks format, and the total prize fund for this event will be in excess of £2500, which is fantastic for a one day event and each player at the start of this event will be just two wins away from a share of the prize fund figure - accurate with 32 players.
Mickeys Flynns has made sure they are well prepared for this event by re-clothing all 8 tables in the last few weeks and there are some also some extra features to this event,
The match table will be streamed live so fans who can't make to the venue can sit back at home and enjoy the action via Ustream, and players and supporters will be offered the chance to get involved with this stream by doing some commentating throughout the event, and Union-Jack flags will be hung around the beautiful club.
Dave Knight and the Pro Shop will also be in attendance so if anybody needs any pool accessories, cues or bits and bobs, please bring some extra cash.
The Winner and Runner up in this event will be presented with an awesome T9B Glass trophy. The Event kicks off on Saturday the 6th April at 10am. Who will become UK Champion???
