Les Dodd and James Kay won there groups to win through to the final of this latest Cuesport UK event, Les had the tougher task on the night by having to win his last game against Polands Mike Kierejewski to guarantee his passage to the final this after Kierejewski had slipped to a 5-4 defeat against Mark Mills in his previous game, the game was level all the way but at 3-3 Dodd got away to take the match 5-3 and leave Les Dodd undefeated in Group Two,

also undefeated in Group one was Cuesport UK sponsored player James Kay, he included victories against Mark Hopgood and Neil Jenkins, the final saw both players agree to share the money and Dodd took the points for 1st place.
With James Kay finishing runner up in this event this put him clear top in the Cuesport UK overall ranking list and a three point advantage over his nearest rivals Mark Mills and Neil Jenkins.
