Xiao-Fang Fu to defend title in 2011
In 2010 Xiao-Fang Fu became only the second woman from China to win the World 9 Ball Championship with her stunning 9-7 victory in the final over Britain's 4 time WPA World champion Allison Fisher. Today, players are being invited to compete for the 2011 title, with 1st Round Qualification Stages being held in Shenhe District, followed by Stage 2 Finals in Hunnan New District.

RULES
WPA 9-ball Rules
FORMAT
Stage 1) Race to 7, Single Elimination (1Round per day)
Stage 2) Race to 7, Double Elimination to last 32 players
Final) 32 players, race to 9, Single Elimination
Alternative break will be use for all the matches
PRIZE MONEY
The winner: USD30, 000
Runner-up: USD15, 000
3rd: USD10, 000
4th: USD7,000
5th-8th: USD5, 000
9th-16th: USD3, 000
17th-32nd: USD2, 000
All of prize money will be paid by cash.
We will withhold approximate 20% of the prize money for tax purposes. (It depends on the amount of prize money of each player, but not beyond 25%)
ENTRY FEES
Stage 1: USD 50 for each round.
Each player will be requested to submit the entry fee USD 150 for the 3 rounds match of stage 1. Qualifier from 1st and 2nd round will be reimbursed the balance.

Please note that all the entry must be submitted from a national federation/association. Any entry from an individual won’t be accepted.
Note: The 9-ball World Championship of women is an official tournament recognized by WPA (World Pool-billiard Association) and is designated for the WPA world ranking.
