Five stop tour for announced Wales
At long last, someone in Wales has finally stepped forward to provide a well organised tour for the country's long suffering 9 Ball players, who until now have had to travel the length and breadth of Britain for a sniff of decent competition, with very little available on their home soil.
Here's hoping this series of events, spanning the most populous cities of Newport, Swansea and Cardiff, gets the support it so sorely deserves, as it features a traditional straight knock-out format with a plate competition for those eliminated on the Last 32 and Last 16 rounds.

Main Event
The competition will be a straight knockout limited to 32 players. All rounds are race to 6 frames, lag for 1st break then alternate breaks. Matches will start at 11am. Please see wpa8ball.com for start times. The competition will be played to WPA Standardized 9 Ball rules.
The top 8 players in the rankings will be seeded for every main event. The rankings will be available on wpa8ball.com.
Players losing in the last 32 and last 16 will be entered into a free plate event.
Plate Event
All rounds are race to 4 frames and matches will start at 2:20pm. The winner of the plate event will receive £25 plus 12 bonus ranking points.
Entry & Prize Fund
Entry will be £12.50 which will include the main event and plate event (for players not progressing to the money stages)
