Carlsberg 8 Ball Open 2011
Legends Sports Bar in Braintree, Essex, in association with Carlsberg UK, are pleased to confirm that a new National 8 Ball Open competition has been confirmed.
Played to World Rules, there is a minimum prize fund of £6,400, which pays out to the last 64 and includes a winner's prize of £1,500.
There are no restrictions on this event, it is open all players, Professional, Amateur, Men, Women & Youth.
This is a Singles K/O competition, where players have two methods of entering. The first is a straight entry fee of £100, which guarantees a place in the final 64 and bypasses a qualification round.
The second is paying just £5 to enter a local qualifier, the winner of which will be entered into the last 64, without having to pay extra entry fees.

There are various pool venues across the UK who will host qualifying events, players simply need to complete and send an entry form (along with fee), they will then be informed of their regional venue.
Finals Date is Saturday 26th March 2011, and will be held at Legends Sports Bar, Braintree, Essex.

Based on current numbers, it looks like we will eaily fill 32 spaces from qualficiation events.
For "Straight In" £100 entries, 17 spaces have already been taken.
Therefore I ask all those interested in entering to please let me know ASAP to avoid missing out. These spaces are strictly allocated on a First PAID, FIRST IN basis, and entries are not accepted until full payment is made.
