$100,000 prize fund for Masters Ten-Ball Tournament
By Barry Behrman and Shannon Behrman Paschall
Hello everyone,
We have some exciting news to share with you all, as we have decided the Master’s will be a 10-ball event. The event is scheduled for March 1-5, 2011 at the Chesapeake Conference Center. The floor plan will be close to the same as the U.S. Open, using ¾ of the ballroom and 12 pool tables with a dividing wall separating the pro event from the AP.A. regional event. The A.P.A. regional event will begin on Thursday March 3rd and end on March 6th in conjunction with the Master’s 10-Ball Tournament and we are delighted to have them.
The format for the Masters will be 10-ball, race to 9, double elimination, with the final four players racing to 11, during the final day; the player must win by 2 games. All matches will be capped off to a max of who wins 15 games first.
Player entry fees will be $500 and $36,000.00 will be added with a full field of 128 players for a total prize fund of $100,000.00 (5 days only!)
"Read More..." for the details.
We will begin accepting entries on January 1, 2011. Efren Reyes, will receive a paid entry fee for winning the event 10 years, ago and we hope that he will join us. Also, this event will also be open to the ladies, as will all events that we do from this point forward.
If you are interested in becoming a vendor, please contact us, as we have 20-25 spots available with U.S.Open vendors have first priority for the first week of January. V.I.P seats will be available for purchase on January 1, 2011 and details will be presented soon.
Thank you all for the outpouring of support, we appreciate all of your kind words and suggestions over the years and look forward to seeing you all twice a year.
