Change of discipline for 2010 Open in Amsterdam

On the 27th and 28th of November organisers Club-8 and Dutch Pool Promotions present the famous Amsterdam Open.

Over € 7500,- (max. of 192 players) prize fund makes the Amsterdam Open the biggest tournament in Holland. There will be four different qualifying groups on Saturday 27 November with entry fees varying from €15 to €60, or players can opt to pay a full entry fee of €100 to directly enter the main event on the Sunday.

This event is a week after the (D)Open event at the same venue, and a major difference to previous years - this year the Amsterdam Open will be played as an eight ball event, qualifying race to 6 and main event race to 8.

Club 8

Club 8 is one of the best Pool Halls in Europe. Our number 1 house pro is Nick van den Berg. Regular players consist of Nick, Rico Diks, Gilliano Smit, Mohammed Hakim and Brian Beekers.

Club 8 is more than just a pool hall.

The first floor features 24 pool tables all top quality Buffalo Pro 9ft tables, EPBF sanctioned, all equipped with Simonis Cloth. The balls are Aramith Super Pro TV. The quality of the restaurant is unmatched in Europe and our (sports) cafe is superb.

If you need a cue or need your cue repaired: no problem, we have the facilities!

The second floor is our party place! Every weekend, the place is jam-packed with hundreds of people, all dancing to the beats of different Club Nights.

Travel

The venue is just 20 minutes away from the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.

Airlines that fly at Schiphol include Easyjet, Ryan Air, and many more of the budget airlines!
