CONDITIONS OF ENTRY INTO THE 2008 EUROTOUR/DIAMOND 9 SERIES

Today the IBP have announced the location of the February Euro Tour will be Paris, France, and have also moved the event back by two weeks.

There is also a new structure for players entering the Euro Tour events for the 2008 season and beyond.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY INTO THE 2008 EUROTOUR/DIAMOND 9 SERIES

PAYMENT OF ENTRY FEE;

1. All 7 Tournaments; (maximum allowed 175 full payments)
First Payment of 500 Euros Before 01st Feb 2008, 2nd Payment of 480 Euros before 01st June 2008 Total 980.00 euros, 140.00 euros per tournament.
(Additional fees will be required if you are seeded and we have the extra additional prize fund on selected tournaments).

2. Single entry prior to the event:
Payment of 150.00 euros must be received 3 weeks prior to the commencement of the tournament. Confirmation of payment will be given, any payments made after
the deadline will be returned, with any costs belonging to the sender.

3. Remaining spots
Places that are remaining after the above 2 categories will be available on the day of the accreditation on a first come first serve basis at 175.00 euros. The amount of available spots will be available via our web site.

If you choose option 1 or 2 please send an E-mail to gre.leenders@planet.nl with a clear message which option you want. You will receive an official invoice a.s.a.p.

After you receive this invoice you can pay the invoice by bank.
Where possible, the draw will be made prior to the tournament with players who have paid in the first 2 categories able to see when they have to play.
Players in category 3 will be drawn into the remaining blank spots on the accreditation day.

CANCELLATIONS;

Any foreseen cancellations must be made not later than 7 full days before the accreditation (Wednesday) 12.00 hours of that event and this must be made via email.

Cancellations made this way will be entitled to a full refund.

Refunds will only be given after the 7 day deadline if sickness is proved with a valid doctor�s certificate or in such cases as flight cancellations provided sufficient notice is given. IBPF reserve the right to issue or decline a refund.

Changing of players or the selling of spots after payment is not permitted and any cancellations will be allocated to the accreditation day.

LOGO�S;

Players are permitted to wear a total of five (5) sponsors on their outfit. Logo�s must not be bigger than 100mm x 50 mm or circle diameter is100mm, and must not be in direct conflict with the tour sponsors.

At the request of the promoter, players may be required to wear the logo of the main sponsor in the Semi finals and final.

Players are required to give notice of the sponsors that they represent before the tournament series begins and any updates such as new or cancellations during the
series. Failure to notify these may result in the refusal of such permission. IBPF reserve the right to refuse any such logo�s that may be offensive or in direct conflict with the tour sponsors.

SANCTIONED TOURNAMENTS;

The Eurotour series belongs to the European Pocket Billiard Federation and is a Sanctioned event. In the event of a collision of Sanctioned tournaments, the player agrees that priority is given to the Eurotour series. Participation at any Non-Sanctioned event is prohibited.

MEDIA AND TV;

All consents under the Performers� Rights Protection Acts 1958 to 1972 or under similar legislation in other countries of the world in connection with the Performance of the Player in the Series and the exploitation of the Player�s performance in the Series by any means and in all media including (but not by way of limitation) all forms of theatrical exhibition, television broadcast, internet and video exploitation are hereby granted and assigned by the Player to the Promoter.

The Player acknowledges to the Promoter that the entire copyright throughout the world in any film and/or video or other recordings of the Player taken or made during the Eurotour Series shall belong to the Promoter absolutely.

The Player warrants to the Promoter that he/she is able to assign all such rights and give such acknowledgments as written above.

The Player agrees to carry out any reasonable request by the Promoter on match days to assist in hospitality or promotion for the benefit of the Series sponsors.

The player acknowledges that by agreeing to participate in the Eurotour Series that any rights of recovery he may have against the promoter for personal injury or damage to property whilst participating in the Series are waived.

The promoter and sponsors cannot be held responsible for any articles of value left anywhere in the venue at any time.

HOTELS AND ACCOMODATION;

Bookings and hotel obligations will be available prior to the event with the invitation. Hotels provided by the organiser must be used (where applicable) otherwise entry to the tournament is invalid.

PRIZE MONEY;

Prize money won at the Eurotour will be paid the following way;
Places 1 to 16 will be paid directly to your bank.

Places 17 upwards will be paid in cash at the venue
All players should have the following bank details ready at each tournament or forwarded by e-mail beforehand (or after if you want to wait). Without BIC (former called swift ) and Iban numbers, payment is not possible; these numbers are available through your own bank)
