The WPBL will consist of twelve teams in two conferences, North and South. While the majority of the teams are located in major cities throughout the United States, Canada will compete with its own team, the Toronto Blue Sharks. The league also boasts a strong international presence, including superstars Thorsten Hohmann, Darren Appleton, Mika Immonen, Warren Kiamco, and Raj Hundal.
The locations have been chosen based on several factors, mainly the popularity of billiards in the surrounding communities, as well as the place of residence for the league's key players.
Each team is comprised of 4 players: a captain, two regulars, and an alternate.
Atlanta Scorpions: Johnny Archer, Dennis Hatch, Shannon Daulton Miami Cruise: Corey Deuel, Hunter Lombardo, Jose Parica Las Vegas Dice: John Schmidt, Charlie Williams, Mike Davis Los Angeles Wave: Oscar Dominguez, Ernesto Dominguez, Louis Ulrich Phoenix Flames: Scott Frost, Tommy Kennedy, Manny Chau Houston Hustlers: Jeremy Jones, Chip Compton, Justin Hall

Yet as the final elements of the inaugural WPBL season fall into place, the teams themselves begin to take shape. Team logos, colors, and player numbers are now available, giving each team its own unique identity.
From the bright and colorful Chicago Rockets, to the dark and mysterious Boston Young Guns, the team logos and jersey colors offer a wide range of styles. Atlanta Scorpions boast a very modern and edgy new logo, while Houston appears to already be a fan favorite.
